How it works

Customise standard IKEA Metod, Pax or Platsa cabinets with our doors, drawer fronts and worktops. Just 3 simple steps to create your bespoke kitchen or wardrobe!

1. Plan your kitchen or wardrobe with IKEA

We specialise in crafting fronts for IKEA Metod, Pax, or Platsa cabinets.

Put together a kitchen or wardrobe design yourself using the IKEA self-planning tools or make a free appointment with IKEA staff in-store or online.

We supply the fronts, cover panels and worktops. Purchase cabinets, internal fitments and hardware directly from IKEA. More information can be found in our guide here.

Keep the doors and drawers on your IKEA design at this stage, they can be removed later before you place your order with IKEA.

Need a non-standard-sized door or cover panel? No problem. We create each item to order in-house, at our East London workshop, making it easy to accommodate most requests.

2. Get your FREE quote and visual from Plykea

Once you have your kitchen or wardrobe design visit our Quote page or simply send the design link or code to us, at hello@plykea.com, including which material and handle style you prefer and your location for delivery.

We’ll provide a FREE, no-obligation quote and a 2D visual showing your material and handle choices. Easy peasy!

Did you know we also sell Bora downward extraction hobs and Quooker taps?

Further customise and elevate your space with the addition of one of our pantries or Ürtil modular shelving units. Ürtil units can be placed horizontally as a wall unit, with or without doors, or sit vertically in place of a base unit - perfect to fill an odd-sized gap in a run of units, as a wine rack or as part of a kitchen island.

3. Place your order

Once we’ve finalised your quote and your order is placed our standard lead time is around 4-6 weeks to manufacture and deliver. Please check the current lead time with the team, as it can vary at busy times.

We’re used to kitchens and wardrobes being part of a bigger programme of work and will work with you to find the most suitable date to have everything arrive on site.

Each of our component parts is discretely engraved on the reverse with its own unique number, matching the IKEA plan and our 2D visual and packing list.

Our fronts also have the same hinge cups and fixing holes as IKEA’s fronts, making the installation a piece of cake!
