IKEA kitchen upgrades in durable plywood – cut and finished to perfection
Every Plykea front starts with a birch plywood core sourced from an FSC-certified supplier — CNC-cut to precision and hand-finished by our team at our London workshop. As standard, the beautiful plywood edges are left exposed. Fronts are made to fit IKEA Metod or Pax cabinets perfectly, using the same hinge cups and fixing holes for straightforward installation. Need a non-standard size or an unusual cover panel? Everything is made to order, so we can accommodate most requests.

Born from a problem we had ourselves.
We founded Plykea because we wanted beautiful, well-made plywood kitchen fronts and worktops and couldn't find them anywhere. So we built a workshop and made them ourselves. Ten years later, we're still making every piece by hand in our London and San Francisco workshops.
