How It Works

1. Plan your kitchen or wardrobe with IKEA

We make fronts for IKEA Metod and Pax cabinets. Before we can quote, we'll need your IKEA plan — this tells us the exact sizes, configurations, and quantities your kitchen or wardrobe requires.

You can put together your design using IKEA's free online planner, or book a free appointment with an IKEA advisor in-store or online.

We supply the fronts, cover panels, and worktops; you purchase the cabinets, internal fittings, and hardware directly from IKEA. A full checklist to help you through this is available in our guide here.

Keep the standard IKEA doors and drawers on your design at this stage — we'll guide you on what to remove before you place your IKEA order.

Need a non-standard size or an unusual cover panel? Everything we make is made to order, so we can accommodate most requests with ease.

2. Get your free quote and 2D visual

Once you have your IKEA design, visit our Quote page or send your plan link or code directly to hello@plykea.com, along with your preferred material, handle style, and delivery location. We'll come back to you with a free, no-obligation quote and a 2D visual showing exactly how your kitchen will look.

We also supply Bora downward extraction hobs and Quooker taps — let us know if you'd like these included in your quote.

Looking to go further? Our pantry units and Ürtil modular shelving can elevate a kitchen significantly. Ürtil works horizontally as a wall unit (with or without doors), vertically as a base unit, or anywhere in between - ideal for awkward gaps, wine storage, or as part of a kitchen island.

3. Place your order

Once your order is placed, our standard lead time is 4–6 weeks to manufacture and deliver. Lead times can vary during busy periods — the team will confirm when you order. We're experienced at fitting deliveries around larger renovation programmes and will work with you to find the right date.

Every component arrives engraved on the reverse with its own unique number, matching your IKEA plan and our 2D visual and packing list. Our fronts share the same hinge cups and fixing holes as standard IKEA fronts, making installation straightforward for any competent fitter.
