Oak veneer is rift-sawn and walnut is quarter-sawn. Birch and maple veneers are rotary cut.
We don't recommend wood veneered doors over 50" high as they are prone to warping. We split these doors and add a joining bracket so that they open as one door.
Pax doors are made longer than IKEA's to cover the base plinth.
